Create a video blog
Definitely read up on blogs, there are a lot out there, so you just have to take your pick. Just do a blog search on Google for Internet Marketing and you should find a good amount.

knowing how to write worthwhile content would be a good start for internet marketing. then learning how to build and design a website. you may also want to learn about deep linking or join forums or in internet marketing communities.

I belong to quite a few forums. The Paydotcom forum is quite good to newbies to just name one. I also have my own forum as well but will not bother mentioning that here
Use your sig file when your in forums
Definitely get your own website WITH your own domain. I waited years to do that and should have done it a lot sooner
